In this art lesson, I reinforced the children's understanding of the concept of shapes through a shape hunt activity. Children hunted for shape cut-outs pasted around the classroom and took turns to name the shapes they found.
Thereafter, the children expressed their creativity and created unique car collages by pasting a combination of the shapes.
Through show-and-tell, children shared with their peers about their artwork and verbalised the shapes they used. Their faces beamed with glee and they were so proud of their artwork!
